Who We Are

Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. (MEPPI) is owned by Mitsubishi Electric Corporation of Tokyo, Japan. MEPPI was incorporated in 1985 to supply products to electric utility companies in North America. Today, the company is headquartered in Warrendale, Pennsylvania with a national workforce of over 900 employees. During the past 30 years, the company has expanded into other markets including transportation and power quality industries. Our products include gas circuit breakers, vacuum circuit breakers, power transformers, gas insulated substations, power electronics and electricity transmission technologies, generator services, uninterruptible power supplies, and rail transportation equipment. While most of MEPPI’s products are not obvious to the general public, numerous sporting and entertainment venues feature the company's world-famous Diamond Vision® large-display screens.
