Our distribution-level equipment field services include installation services, breaker maintenance programs, and training. Our services team works with you to customize a program specific to your needs. As an extension of organization, Mitsubishi Electric will manage the installation and/or maintenance of your distribution‐class equipment.

Testing ‐ All of our acceptance testing is based directly off of Mitsubishi Electric’s recommendations along with NETA Acceptance Testing Standards. We also can include customer recommended testing if applicable.

Maintenance Program

Physical Inspection of coating services. We will clean the bushings and touch‐up the cabinet where required.
Electronics Testing: Timing, Travel, Vacuum Integrity, DC Micro Ohm. A new test report will be provided; test results will be compared to factory tests to evaluate change.
Mechanism/Contact: measurements of shock absorber, cam roller, trip and close coils and inspection of contact wear.
Predictive Maintenance as part of the service program, a breaker “revamp” parts kit (cabinet heaters, relays and timers will be replaced and tested.
Recommendations: You will be provided a comprehensive report of all testing and inspection. Additionally, any recommendations for part replacement (not included in the service call) will be provided.

Training Services

Our Distribution‐Level Equipment Services team offers training for all our circuit breakers up to 72kV. Our product‐training specialists will work with your teams to develop a training program that is appropriate for your substation team’s requirements . Training can be conducted at your location or at a remote training facility.
