Mitsubishi’s UPS Division Wins Power Systems Award

Warrendale, Pennsylvania, February 20, 2009 - Mitsubishi Electric Power Products (MEPPI) Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) Division has been awarded “Best Small Business provider for Power Systems” in the 2008 Nemertes Research PilotHouse Virtualization Awards.

Nemertes PilotHouse Award recognizes companies in a variety of technology markets for demonstrating outstanding achievement and superior performance in areas such as technological innovation and service, value and customer service. The awards are based upon primary research, through in-depth interviews with IT decision makers, who select the leaders based on best practices in the industry.

Research participants rated their power systems providers and gave Mitsubishi the highest overall score for technology and value. According to the research report generated by Nemertes, Mitsubishi is a vendor with the ability to minimize cost and complexity while maximizing sophistication. Mitsubishi captured this top honor and out-scored its key competitors. According to General Manager, Dean Datre, “we are proud of this recognition within our industry. In total, it validates our position as a best-of-breed vendor”.
