500 MVA Single-phase autotransformers

Mitsubishi Electric's Ako works facility specializes in producing large MVA, high voltage shell-form transformers and has vast experience in producing many of the world's largest power transformers, including more than 650 transformers with a rating of 500kV or higher.

Mitsubishi Electric's largest autotransformer manufactured to date is a 1,000 MVA, 1050/525kV single-phase autotransformer, manufactured in 1993. This is one of the world's largest autotransformers.
