A service contract with Mitsubishi Electric is designed to reduce your total cost of ownership over the lifetime of the systems. Additionally, it ensures that all service swill be provided at the highest standards of service excellence by our North American Service Network of factory certified trained service technicians.
Only Mitsubishi Electric will provide the maintenance, parts, and service needed to get the best performance from equipment already in place. Our field technicians and customer support engineers can startup and commission equipment, perform planned maintenance, monitor performance and diagnose your problems, and respond to emergencies on a 24x7 basis, 365 days a year.
We can customize maintenance support contracts in scope or term to meet the needs of our customers.
Typical SVC Maintenance Contract breaks down each component within the SVC requiring inspection and maintenance. Documentation such as checksheets and procedures for each maintenance task is provided with the breakdown of each sub-component within the SVC. An example scope of work may include:
• Thyristor Valve
• Thyristor Valve Controls and Firing
• SVC Supervisory Controls
• Cooling System and Cooling Controls
Traditional substation equipment such as capacitors, reactors, transformers, protective relays, instrument transformers, and miscellaneous building and station service equipment can also be included upon request.
While at site, our customers may elect to send members of their staff to the site to participate in the routine maintenance provided by our service department as an additional opportunity to receive training on the SVC equipment.
While Mitsubishi Electric has extensive experience and expertise in the development, manufacturing, installation, testing, and maintenance of these high-performance power electronics based systems worldwide, we remain committed to our customers after the power electronics system is commissioned.
